3 Common Landing Page Mistakes Solo Founders Make (And How to Fix Them)
Avoid these pitfalls: weak headlines, missing social proof, and too many options.
I've reviewed dozens of landing pages for indie founders, and three mistakes keep showing up.
First: vague headlines. 'The best tool for productivity' tells me nothing. Instead, say 'Organize your tasks in 10 seconds flat.' Be specific.
Second: no social proof. Even a single testimonial can boost conversions. Add a quote from a beta user or a customer count.
Third: too many CTAs. One primary action per page. Remove the 'Learn More' link and the secondary button. Focus your visitor on one decision.
Our templates are designed to avoid these mistakes out of the box. But if you're customizing, keep these rules in mind.
